El Dorado or “the golden” was a legendary city of the New World, in South America famed for its great wealth of gold and precious jewels. It was eagerly sought by 16th- and 17th-century explorers, including Sir Walter Raleigh.
We called the final installment of the Salsa Slims trilogy El Dorado, as we truly believe those who reach this stage have struck gold. We refresh the two previous courses before introducing new steps. We then refine the routine, finessing steps, finally putting together the complete polished performance. It makes for a dazzling spectacle - worthy of El Dorado. On seeing the remarkable transformation from beginner to confident dancer, it is hard to believe such progress is possible. As with all Stepping Out courses we will have many laughs along the way to our destination. Once again, the class is danced in line formation. You do not need a partner. Same attire as for El Segundo.
